Make your first API request

Create a key, then use it with the crypto status endpoint for a first successful request.

1. Create an API key

Sign in to the developer portal and create a named key for your application. Keep it on your server, never in client-side code.

2. Call the status endpoint

Free access includes the top 50 crypto assets. ethereum is a useful first request.

3. Read the response

A successful response contains the asset identifier, ticker, and current Shariah status.
